    fog lights question and Debadging

just wanted to ask what kind of bulbs go for the fog lights. I was told they are H11, just wanted to make sure. I wanna get the hyper yellow ones. Im also thinking of removing the audi rings from the hatch of my avant. Has anyone done this and is it still with a blowdryer and dental floss?

Not sure about bulbs, but debadging should be same. Your car will be un-identifiable

Fogs are H11. I just swapped my stock ones with the PIAA yellow ones.

Re: fog lights question and Debadging

dental floss rips unless you have really thick and strong dental tape. So i pretty much had to use and entire cartridge of dental floss to get half way through the damn thing. Fishing wire or some kind of thin rope or something works better, much stronger. And especially fishing wire since it does cut through the adhesive the best. You might need some gloves too and a helper. I did this with my girlfriend and i had her hold the hair dryer over the emblems so they would stay heated as i did it. Then i just used my hands with the gloves to remove the bulk of the adhesive. Goo gone should really only be for the left over stickiness remaining from the adhesive. But having a second person and something other than dental floss made it easier and twice as fast.

For me, the dental floss idea only lasted about 10 seconds....after that I went to Wal-Mart and picked up the cheapest roll of fishing line I could find....and of course only used one section that I had cut off.....

Use the waxed dental floss instead of unwaxed one. I used both and found the waxed one invincible. Then I used the same section for flossing out the lamb chop from my teeth I had that night.

IMO, leave the rings on! Taking it off is... uhm... bad luck! Yeah, that's it!
