i need to see some B6's with 18" and 19" wheels.. and cant seem to find any...

im gonna buy them today, but i want to see quickly which will look better...

i wanna get 18s cause i do LOVE taking turns at a nice little pace.. so u know.. i wanna be secure there and handling good..

...but i want to get 19's cause they do look soo much better.. ill be lowered on Neuspeed race springs.. so just to give you guys an idea.. and i travel in NJ and NY A LOT.. im not to worried about potholes cause eh.. ive had only 19 for the past couple sets.. but since the VMr rs4 reps have no lip. .they look book either way.. so wahts ur input guys. show me some pics please!

im scared the 18's would look kinda small..

oh and wil be going with nexen n3000 tires.. any feedback on those.. thanks guys for all the help

The 18" Rs4 reps will not look small. I have them and turn heads at every light and with the drop you'll hae, they'll look nice.
Here's my car to get an idea of what springs and 18" Rs4's look like (shitty pic)

I love my 19" Axis Milanos...

My car is pretty slammed on Koni coil overs... and it still handles like a dream.

i like.. se if u guys search for b6a4's car... and ravi's car.. they have the perfect drop! (sorry i belive so) like b6a4, has the rs4 reps (VMR) in 18's and they look perfect not to small.. but then again i think thats the lighting/camera doing that. like demea ur rims right htere looked kinda small.. but then other 18's looked perfect.. i think its the way u shoot the pic.. but in person ur rims i bet look amazing. im leaning towards 18 right now.. really am.

search for dougyfresh and SableA4, they are both riding nice on 18"..
dougyfresh has 18" VMR RS4s on his Avant with '02 (lowest) factory sport suspension and it looks great!!.. SableA4 also has 18" RS6 on his Avant with H&R race springs and it looks great too..

i have 18" black Sportec reps and they look too small, but i have factory sport suspension..

KevinL's has the exact same wheels, but with the drop and silver they look MUCH better on this avant..

    good luck..

everyone with 18s secretly wish they had 19s...anyone with 20s is trying to compensate for something.

go as big as you can stomach with road conditions...19s look like sh!t with big dents...

As long as you have the right drop and the wheels are the right offset then either 18's or 19's will fit the B6 very nicely. It's the drop/offset of the car that will make whatever size you choose look good.

Here are a set of 18's and a set of 19's on my car. Neither one looks too big or too small...

Yep. true. I'm actually happier (i think at least) about going 18's with the lousy roads in the NorthEast.

no offense OP, but if you can't find pictures of an a4 with 18 or 19" rims you haven't even tried looking. it'd be harder to find pics of one with stock 16 or 17's on this forum!

for future reference, i'm pretty sure a4mods has a pic section that breaks it down by the rim size and number of spokes.

Re: wheel and tire help.. please chime in guys.. need to do this before 3 pm

yeah. no.. i wasnt looking for anything but rs4 wheels. that doesnt happen.. and i need to look at the difference.. like actlsub9's wheels i thought were 19's...

so greg those rs4 reps u have.. those are 18?!?!? i thought they wher 19s all this time.. lol

see thats what im talking bout its the way u shoot the camera.. and lighting and eveyrhting that makes it...

quick questons.. ur rs4 reps are exactly what i want.. the look and stance and also b6a4 has the same kinda look. could u PM me ur wheel and tire specs so i can match that.. and what kind of suspension/drop ur running.. im doing hte neuspeed race springs and bilsteins...

im not doing coilovers ive had the Koni, and two diff stasis coils on my car.. and i never adjusted them.. so im good..

but yeah greg if u could thanks!

and so i think i wanna do 18 but im just worried they are gonna look too like... u know.. wow.. see like gregs car.. tahts wow lol.

and 19s im worried.. the way i drive.. is not bad.. but on turns im a dick. .and when some punk civic on the belt parkway tries to mess around, u know i get a little spirited. (and for those from NY, know the belt parkway is hell to drive on.. the BQE is worse.. but still)

    so yeah.. thanks guys..
and greg if u can PM me that info thatd be great thanks.

I run 19" and drive into city everyday for work, and through northern NJ. I even drive onto construction sites with car like this. Just have to be carefull. Buy these for $400.
    Go with 19s, looks better.

Oh yeah....everyone has the RS4 reps. Go with something dif. MY 2 cents

One thing to remember about 19s is that they are considerably heavier than stock, both the rims and the tires. Plus they are likely to be a little bit bigger in diameter, while 18s can come in the same. Between these two, it means you will be slower in accelleration than stock with more weight to twist. You will likely not be faster in the turns either as you start to run into limitations in width. There are plenty of max performance tires in 18 that will have more than enough grip to make circles around any Civic ricer. Now if you want 19s beause you think they look cooler, that is fine, but probably has nothing to do with a performance increase over 18s. Sorry to put my Dad hat on.

for some reason i still want to go 19s for that look.... im never going to race the car.. never going to track the car nothing. its a daily driven car.. its purely for looks.. and ofcourse a little pep for the spirited driving is all i want.
