    Hey guys....i'm looking at an 2005 A6 4.2 loaded to the balls for the wifey & was wondering what kind of gas mileage you are getting. She really doesn't drive all that much, just around town for the normal errands....her job is literally down the road, so not much of a commute.

    My dad just got rid of his a few months ago and he was averaging with 70/30 city/highway right around 21. Hope that helps!

    Well, in my 2001 4.2 A6 I'm getting around 16-18mpg. But almost all of my driving is around town. I think I may have to sell for something with better gas mileage for my daily driver.

    In my 4.2 S6, I average about 16 MPG, she is thirsty, but loves to be pushed hard. LOL!!!

    same as mine - between 16-17. But more so on the 16s ... LOL

    Not too bad on my end... I get about 22mpg or so in my 02 4.2. (sometimes better)

    I get between 14-16 in city...if i get more than 250 miles a tank i am happy..but its good on the highway. Just in Vegas with the a/c on full and in traffic, its a joke.

    19 with a 50/50 mix. 21 with 70highway/30city mix. 25 all highway at like 65ish. I haven't taken a road trip with it yet, but I'm driving to PA next month. Looking forward to what my piggy can do.

    16-17 if I keep her to 130kph on the commute... which usually doesn't happen, so it's more like 13-15 :(
