so i've notice that my vacuum hose keep flying off my forge blowoff valve. i am sure that i drive around with that thing off most of the time. Its only cause i had to fix something and then i would notice it hanging. Am i damaging my engine with it not connected? i am a stage 1+! am i losing a lot of boost? should i open the valve a bit?

If its not connected you are not "releasing" boost, so you are damaging your turbo. BTW if you have a BOV can't you hear if it is not connected or not? Anyway get a small hose clamp to fix this problem.

I have same BOV, I used hose clamp. It's needed.

I think I may be losing boost with my Forge 004 BOV though, planning on going back to DV

its under vacuum when not under boost. boost runs through it helping the spring equalize pressure to keep the valve close. vacuum is what helps it open when boost is released.

Cut about 1/2" off the hose before putting it back on and use a small hose clamp.

If your running the springs that came in it, then yes. Needs the yellow boost spring (same as from the DV's) and the stiffer vac spring (have to ask for from Forge)
