    CLK 320 rims? Yes plz

Alrite, I read in the b5a4 forum that there was modding needed for clk320 rims to fit. Something about a 9/16" drill bit on the lug holes. and i presume that they fit over the stock brakes up front too?
I want at lightweight ass rim, and i guess that since the 320 rims are 5x112 and light as hell, they'd be great to run.

You would also need spacers. the clk320 wheels your referring to are 12~14lbs each but at 15s I believe.

the ones im looking at are cheap, in good shape, and are 16".

I'm running 10mm spacers right now. i think the rear offset is et32 and the front et37

so will these fit with 10mm all around? I know marc runs these in the rear, but not up front since he cant clear his brakes. mine are stock.

You can catch Marc on AIM (CuriousYellow), he is usually always on. I can't tell if he is on now, because he blocked me about a week ago. But it is a safe bet to assume he is online.

MB wheels are weird; some match our hubsize (iirc 57.1) and some are about 70. Make sure of that, in case you need to buy hubrings. I don't know which the 320 rims are.

it was to my understanding that all mercedes wheels are 5x112 with exception to the clk series which are 5x100. i could be wrong but you may want to look into it.

our cars are lug centric, hub centric rings will only make mounting easier, and will not affect drivability.

an example of hub-centric wheels is a ford F-350 that uses flat faced lug nuts and therefore must rely of the hub to center the wheel.

I told you man, he is a pain to deal with. Remember a while back when you were coming to me about logging your car? I tried to help you, but in all honesty Marc should have been the one helping you.

At this point Luis, all you can do is deal with it. I'm always online if you got any questions. Feel free to IM me.

Oh and Tommy that pic is no good. But the CLK wheels are essentially a chrome steelie.

it's all good, i was just trying to figure out what to look at in VAG that night.. but whatever.. marc is just childish and immature... i have some knowledge of how to tweak, i needed marc for the "base" settings.. for when i do a race gas tune and what not.. not big deal i can just DIY safely and slowly...

BACK ON TRACK.. do those wheels really weigh 15 lbs? i wanted to get the 17inch koseis' but they were hard to find.. so these might be a good plan B

yeah these rims are light as hell. they're inexpensive too. they may not look the greatest, but sometimes i choose function over form
