Hi. My name is Ron... and I'm an Autoholic (Thanks FastB7S4) I know there is more of you on here so I thought it would be fun to post up pics of our past rides. Hopefully it's ok to post this here moderators. Please contribute and post a little info on each one.
First up. My 2003 Nissan 350z. This was the first "sports car" I ever owned. Had always been a huge fan of the old 300ZXTT so I had to have one of these when they first came out. Eventually upgraded to the 18" stock wheels. No other mods. Car kinda bored me...
Traded in the 350z for this... 2004 Subaru WRX STi. Loved this car and still has a place in my heart. This was the first year... No stereo or speakers came installed. Got my first taste of car stereo installation with this. This thing was a blast to drive... Didnt do any mods besides wheels and rear spoiler delete. The wheels were ugly so I won't post a pic :) Then I wanted more luxury...
Traded in the STi for my first Kraut. 2003.5 BMW M3 SMG. This is the car I thought I would keep for a long time! Was fast, fun, and great looking. SMG was a blast to drive fast and the auto mode was great for when you needed to use your phone and what not. In my eyes one of the best looking cars BMW ever made. Loved the width adjustable seats! But the main problem that drove me nuts... The color was beautiful but hard to color match should something need to get repainted. Due to this I feel the car was cursed. Was hit and run in a parking lot on my rear bumper on New Years. Scratched the paint up real nice... Next up was a big door dent right on the body line. Scratched the paint too. Then a girl I was dating scratched an X in the leather seat due to a broken button on her jeans... All these lil things added up so I started looking elsewhere... Always liked them Audis... I'm crazy I know. BTW no mods besides 19" OEM wheels. Can't find that pic though.
Walked in to carmax and I fell in love... Well with Audi at least :) Found a low mileage 2004 b6 s4 in Nogaro blue with Alcantara... Had it shipped from Atlanta. Came with APR downpipes and Catback exhaust. From there I added RNS-E, OEM Ultrasport bumper, H Sport rear sway, ECS Cayenne BBK and some SSR wheels... Then I started to crave more power and tune-ability...
Found a very clean low mileage 2001.5 b5 s4 in the same color combo locally! Upgraded clutch and a few other things here and there getting ready for a complete stage 3 build...
Then I saw her... Low mileage complete awe rsko4 stage 3 b5 s4 in nogaro blue. In the link is the actual car I bought from the second owner in Reno. It was featured in EuroTuner magazine. It came with the two sets of wheels. Kinesis k28r and Work Emotion that were bronze and used as his winter wheels. I added brushed rs4 mirror caps, OEM rs4 CF interior trim, Sold both sets of wheels and added 18" BBS CH (i know heavier but I loved the look) Experimented with some DPE wheels but wasn't happy. The CH looked perfect on her. Car had everything. Stasis Track Sport suspension, Brembo GT BBK, AWE twin2 exhaust etc... Still not sure why I let her go :(

Then I made the mistake... I sold the car to a very lucky guy in Cali... Although nothing ever broke on her when I had her, I was always worried about breaking down... So I took the safe route. Heard she is still running strong :( Not a big downgrade. Mainly just in power. I bought an 07 ibis white s-line A4 Avant. Had plans for a BT and such but I moved to the Bahamas for 5 months in 2007 so I decided I would just hold off... Ended up just getting her chipped and put on a rear rs4 sway... Great car... Just not much oomph.
So my lease is almost up and I wanted to get back into something faster right out of the box, with luxury, a warranty, and low key style... Came back to a b6 s4! I prefer the look to the b7 so that's why I went b6 again. So far just some Ti wheels and piano black trim. Planning on getting suspension and exhaust soon! The plan is to keep her for 3 years... We'll see ;)
So who else has a problem?
The first step is admitting it.
