Quick purchase question, insight needed (updated with codes and logs)

Going to check out an s4 right now, bringing along the laptop to VAG it and possibly do some logs. What would you recommend logging and if you know the block number off the top of your head? I was thinking boost, maybe a few others? Your input is appreciated.

    Edit:

Well here's what we came up with:

    VAG-COM Version: Release 311.2-N

    Control Module Part Number: 8D0 907 551 M
    Component and/or Version: 2.7l V6/5VT G 0002
    Software Coding: 06711
    Work Shop Code: WSC 63351
    5 Faults Found:
17866 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 2 (G236): Short to Ground
    P1458 - 35-00 - -
    16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
    P0300 - 35-00 - -
    16688 - Cylinder 4 Misfire Detected
    P0304 - 35-00 - -
    16690 - Cylinder 6 Misfire Detected
    P0306 - 35-00 - -
    16689 - Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected
    P0305 - 35-00 - -
Those were the codes pulled. I'm figuring the sensor has to do with maybe the car running lean occasionally and causing the misfires? I cleared the codes and went for a test. Here's 2 logs of misfires (since I can't remember which was the right pull) and one of boost pressure and the MAF sensor.

    http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...OQHI3tW9lEzkZQ - Misfire 1
    http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...OQHccvTVTC0xaw - Misfire 2
    http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?k...OQHSLVfkt8erAw - MAF & Boost

When I scanned the car again, there were no misfires detected, but the temp sensor code had come back. Other than that, the car seems to be in great condition. No dentist drill from the turbos and the timing belt, water pump and tensioner have all been changed within the past month.

Besides that, the EGT sensors read what was specified above.

    What do you guys think?

EGT sensors-112. They should read 1035 with car off, 945 with car running.

Those codes will most likely go away after changing the driver side EGT sensor. It makes the car run rich, not lean, and causes misfires.
