Car seems like its cutting out

I was driving my 2004 1.8t usp today and it felt like it was cutting out. When I would down shift occasionally it would chug once or twice then it would be be fine. The car does need to be serviced but any ideas what it might be.
PS. the car is being serviced on 7/2

is this at full boost?
could be misfires due to coilpacks or your sparkplugs need to be changed/gapped.

That was the first thing i thought when it first started cutting out. I have only owned the car for a week and I am not used to having to put in 93. I was reasured that i put 93 in when i looked at the slip

Yeah i am thinking that it may be coilpacks, spark plugs, and a diverter valve. The car gets serviced on monday so i will have to mention that to the mechanic.

exactly what i'm feeling this sux ass, today 3 times back to back i shifted into a gear and pushed the gas to get going and the car died. This used to be like every couple of hours would do it, but now it is constant it sux.
