Re: please help with my intercooler choices

I've actually been looking into these as well and I would like to do a FMIC but it seems all of them require trimming to fit behind a stock bumper. Not a huge deal but some seem like the won't fit with the A/C, it's all been very confusing to me. From what I have figured out the ebay route seems the best but I'm still looking for a solid answer and write-up somewhere.

Racetec is the one I would go with

REVO chipped | Koni Adjustable Coilovers | 19mm Neuspeed Rear Sway
AWE Vent Pod Boost Gauge | Seat Cupra R Front Lip | Painted Lowers | S4 Side Skirts

Re: please help with my intercooler choices

If you have the money, definitely go with Racetec, least amount of trimming and it is a good quality piece. Besides that I would do ebay, but it is hard to make it fit right on the stock a4 bumper with a decent amount of trimming. I run an ebay one behind my rs4 rep, you see a lot of people go below AND above the AC lines cause you can do it either way and below is easier for some I guess.

edit: you can see my ebay fmic in my avatar
