To connect or not to connect??

I am running a GTRS, 550 injectors, test pipe, revo flash, and manual boost controll, still need to tune the car, but I am looking at adding water meth next summer, probably a clutch. For the rest of the year until next summer I plan to run the car at lower boost levels, BUT I want to know a which boost levels do the rods come into play?? Basically what is the max people are running with stock rods "safely"or can I get away wiith the stock? Also what rods are known to be good on this set up, I have only 18k on the car so the engine is relatively new and not beaten.
    Any input is appresciated!!

From my reading I believe you will be fine with stock internals. It isn't until you get up into the full GT series turbos that it becomes an issue... I'm sure some of the gurus will chime in with some more detailed info.

As you probably know the max boost you would want to run to be efficient on a GTRS is around 22 psi on 91oct w/o water/meth. With meth you could probably run 25-26psi and still be making power on pump gas. From what I hear the gtrs isn't the kinda of turbo that is built to make power on crazy boost. Rods are not necessary unless you plan on going with a GT3071r or bigger or u build your engine.

One practical way to evaluate the maximum hp/torque capability of the stock rods and pistons, is that the factory uses only forged parts for the TT 225 motor. Therefore, consider the stock AMB rods and pistions should not be loaded as much as a TT 225.
