So i've just noticed a small vibration feeling from my car @ about 45-80mph. The steering wheel doesn't shake, and I gave the car a wheel alingment less than 2 months ago. I'm running h&r coilovers. I also just purchased a set of new tires which were mounted and balanced at discount tire. what could it be? bearings?

    Re: Light Vibration

If you just got new tires and are just noticing the vibration, I'd check there first.

Go back and explain to them what you're noticing and ask them to recheck.

Don't think the tires are the problem. They have driven fine. I got the tire's over a month ago. I'm thinking it could something to do with suspension parts. If i hear a hum, could that be the bearings?

    Re: Light Vibration

I had my tires put on at Mavis dicount tire, they balanced the wheels but did a shit job so I went to audi and prob was taken care of. If you hear a hum it the hub or bearing (could be worn or bent)

    Re: Light Vibration

Check to see if all wheel weights are on the wheels still, that would give you a quick idea of wether your wheels need to be rebalanced, they have a tendancy to not stay on if the surface wasnt cleaned properly.

Agreed you probably through a weight. As for no vibration in the steering wheel if its more in the seat or in the floor, get them to check the rear tire/wheels.
