New wheels, need a new bumper now....

So I picked up some 19x8.5/9.5 staggered LM Reps this weekend and they're everything i hoped they would be and more Pics will be up this week hopefully, but the car may be in the shop instead....was at a party Sat night, parked at the curb, drama broke out, I full-nelsoned a girl to her car in the driveway, next thing I know there's a TC backin that ass up against my car's face... Everything looks like it will be ok except the bumper cover. Has anyone had any luck with upgrading parts through insurance/ collision repair? Say if I order the S Line + grille and pay the difference? My friend told me just give the shop the part number and don't worry about the rest...if that'll work I'm giving them the DTM bumper part number haha!

Also, the wheels look sick, no spacers needed, they're perfect. But I noticed my passenger rear sits about a finger higher than the drivers rear. I want to get the rear all in line before I get it aligned, but I don't have any directions nor spanner wrenches in the box for the C/Os....is it do able? Even if I get some spanner wrenches, I probably need to compress the springs right? any advice would help, thanks!

hey I think we picked up the same sets...well I'm about to get it. Problem is that my car is really low (almost tucking on stock 17's), and I didnt know whether the 32et 19x8.5 fronts, and 35et 19x9.5 would fit. With tires on the rears, does it look like it is going to poke(hoping I can tuck)? What tire size did you go with?

I have the Stasis streets with the preset ride height. It was perfect with the stock 17s, almost tucked in the front, raked in the back just a little. Now it's perfect up front and a little high in the rear still. With the stock wheels in the trunk/back seat, the back was PERFECT, and only rubbed when taking a couple quick, freeway on ramp turns. I think if it was just a thread higher than it was and w/o the weight, it would be good. 235/35/19 up front and 245/35/19 in the rear; the rear lip actually sticks out slightly past the lip protection on the tire, making it look a little stretched, which I'm not too fond of, but overall they look great. And the rears have a nice step lip as well. The offset is perfect front and back, once I get pics up, I'll do a few diff angles so you can tell. I'm rocking the Nexen 3000s and to be honest, it's one of the best tires I've ran. It's quiet, grippy, solid, and comfortable. I know it sounds crazy, but with the Stasis C/Os and Nexens, it feels like a stock ride again, with exception for speed bumps. I'm extremely impressed with the Nexens. I was sketchy at first, but they are night and day compared to the stock 17s w/brand new Kumhos. The ride was slightly harsh with the 17s, but somehow with 2" of more wheel and less tire, the ride is noticeably more smooth and solid. I don't feel half the bumps on the road and the ones that used to be kind of harsh are just normal bumps now.

Also, I looked up the part #s for the DTM front and if I can get away with giving these part numbers to the collision shop, would they be able to install it w/o any modifications? Obviously they wouldn't know what to do with the fogs, but they can just clip and cap the wires right? I couldn't really find what grille is used with the DTm either? It looks like standard?

lol I think you can get away with maybe the sline, but the DTM is questionable. You will need more than just the bumper if you go sline too (bumper, new grille and filler plate, new fog grille). I had a similar situation where a tire shop ripped off my bumper(but already had sline bumper on), and I just went through the dealership and explained the situation and they did what I wanted since they were getting paid no matter what choice I picked.

Regarding the rims, I think I am going to go with that tire setup also. After alot of searching on this forum I thought I might have to go 235/35 and stretch the rears to get it to tuck.
    I had two reasons:
1)wanted to have a system without having to worry about rubbin in the rear and
2)I usually drive with a full car of passengers

worst come to worst..ill just raise it a bit

After she broke my friend's living room window with her fist, it was either get her to her car and let her girlfriend drive her far away, or have a dead lesbian in the front yard...I think I made the right choice lol. The bumper was the least of my worries, but it still sucks...

I guess I'll try the S Line, I'll be happy with that, The DTM probably is a stretch haha.

The 245/35/19s in the back appear to be stretched a little, but I don't think they are necessarily. With the wheels in the back, it sat perfect, tucked to cover the visible tread, but little, if any, sidewall. And like I said, it only rubbed on quick momentum shifts/maneuvers. I think with a system, you'll be ok, but not with passengers. All 4 wheels/tires are 200 lbs, roughly one person or 2 hot breezys haha.

The manufacturer or?... I'm not sure of the manufacturer, but they came with some cheesy looking, plain chrome center caps if that helps. I'll ask him tomorrow. They had some Audi center caps laying around the shop that damn near match the dolphin gray, so that finished them off nicely.
