Need link for install directions for TT Steering wheel on B6 S4

Why don't give up some more info.

1. what kind of steering wheel is currently on the S4?

2. What parts do you already have for the new wheel.

multi function wheel on b6 s4 cab. tools- have torx wrench, no vag tool tho. do i need it?

You dont if you already have a multifunction wheel installed. You will also need a pin or suitable flat object to release the pins in the TT wiring harness to move the wires around and a sharp knife to trim the tabs off the side of the harness. You also might want a very small srew driver to release the purple locking pastic bit in the wiring harness and remove the top of the harness to get to the wires.
