    Concert Radio to Bose Possible?

Right now my 99.5 A4 has the Concert Radio with cassette and 6 disk in trunk unit in it. The head unit recently died and I wanted to know if I can put the Bose indash Cd unit in. If so is it a direct drop in or do I need an amp. I did search but and I think I need to get the amp for the Bose system as well, but did not know if someone has a link to a swap guide or better instructions than reading through 20 posts and not finiding the answer, thanks in advance

Re: Concert Radio to Bose Possible?

it will work but the radio would need to be re-coded with VAG-COM for a non-bose system. Count your blessings since you dont have the bose.

I have a concert CD unit that I dont need... some of the buttons are worn out, but it works fine. I'd take $50 just to get rid of it.
