Hello. I am assuming you have the Bose 6-CD changer in your vehicle, which would be the same unit as I have in a Mark II TT.
You have to be very careful when inserting or rejecting CD's from this unit. First,
you must not jam the CD into the player cartridge. The unit will ask you to load 1 CD at a time, and if you do not press load again right after the previous CD has been inserted then the player might want to read the CD and start playing it.
You also must hold the CD straight, not slanted either up or down, and let the player grab the CD and take it in easily... no puching or jamming of the CD should occur. After each successive CD is installed, you must press the number coinciding on the player panel with whichever CD has been installed.
After all the CD's are installed, the player will play whichever number CD you have pushed. That is the sequence I follow, and I have never gotten an error code.
When ejecting CD's I follow the same pattern in reverse. If this does not work for you,
a quick trip to your dealership's service department wouldbe in order. Doing it right takes a soft touch and following of insertion/rejection protocol. Hopefully, you will get it right using my suggestion. If not, go see the pundits at your Audi dealership. They can help. Good luck.
P.S. You should also wait for the unit to read "loading" or "insert disk" as the ques on what to do at the specific time the unit displays these commands.
