    Is there an acronym thread (sticky) anywhere?

    Vagcom is used to read CEL's (check engine lights) as well as log different info through the ECU, GTRS is a turbo, HID = high intensity discharge (headlights), APR is a tuner like REVO, GIAC, ...

    MAF = Mass air flow sensor
    FMIC = Front mounted Intercooler
    VAG = Volkswagon Audi Group
    CAI = Cold Air Intake (but not really)
    MBC = Manual Boost Controller
    EBC - Electronic Boost Controller
    CVT = Constant Variable Transmission (I think)
    Goodwood Green is money...$$$$

    i believe its continuously variable transmission...

    and TB is either throttle body or timing belt...i seen it referenced as both, so i guess the context matters...

    SMIC = Side Mount Intercooler
    DSMIC = Dual Side Mount Intercooler
    DP = Down Pipe
    CP = Coil Pack
    TIP (other than Turbo Inlet Pipe) = Tiptronic = slushbox = automatic transmission

    TC = Torque Converter
    Diff = Differential

    Mmmm, slush. I thought most people abbreviated Torque Converter as TC. I always read TQ just as "torque".
