in Menzerna! The car was pretty swirled after getting it back from the body shop and I couldn't have that. Gave her a nice detail today.

we have the same car color and wheels...how do you get rid of watermarks??? i have serious difficulty every time i wash her.

use a nice squeegee and towel to dry it off.. voila no watermarks from drying

I used Menzerna Intensive Polish w/ a green pad and my porter cable to get rid of the swirls and marks in the paint.

I have a specific method to washing and drying my car to prevent swirls like that. The last time I had detailed back in May till I brought it into the body shop, there were no swirl marks from all the washes.

I only do front to back motion, very lightly across the surface with a microfiber/chenille mitt. Finish one line, move downwards and another swipe from to back till I get to the bottom.

Same method with drying (waffle weave microfiber 24"x36" towel), front to back. Never a "wiping" motion which causes swirls.

Ya i got this thing called a California water blade at joe's works great for getting the water off, by the way you should put FTL in the acronym thread

Did you just get your lowers painted and the S4 blades?

Nope, the lowers were painted from factory and blades put on about a year ago. New USP full front put on.

The reason I ask is that in that last pictures for some reason the lowers look a shade lighter that the rest of the car.
It still looks really good. That is the look I'm trying to achieve. I did the DIY USP conversion but I'm still having problems trying to fit the center lower grill. Once I figure that out, parts would be off to the shop to get painted.
