NGK Bkr7e Users You need to read this thread!!

Well I needed some plugs today ( Bkr7e's) and the local shops wanted $10.00 per plug... After telling couple of dudes to screw off.. I did some research on google and found out that Napa carries them for the 2003 Audi RS6 as an OEM Plug.... I brought my old plug and the box to Napa and sure enough the gap (0.032) and everything was the same... So I got a box of 20 for $ 47.00.... I also found out that the same plugs are used for a 2004 Volvo V70 2.5T AWD... The part number from NGK is 6097... Now ask if its the 0.032 gapped ones because they also have the 6097 in the 0.040 gap...

Thought I would pass the information on to help save some people some $$$$ for other mods...

Autozone carries them too. Just ask for them by the part number. 6097 for the 7e's or 6096 for the 6e's.

I've picked up some at Checker Auto parts as well. Also online at Sparkplugs.com....no way $10/plug!
I ran 6E's with good results here in CO when I was REVO stg 1, since I switched to stg 2 the 7E's run better

Aren't chipped cars supposed to be running 7Es at .028" gap? I thought .032 was for a stock motor....

Re: NGK Bkr7e Users You need to read this thread!!

Ive read that .032 is too big of a gap. I was having misfiring issues with my stage 1 set up. I am currently running 7Es at .028 gap with my Revo Stage 2. No misfires in over 8 months of use....

Well the 1st time around IIRC mine were gapped at .028.... But my 2nd set was at .032 and I didnt have a problem... But I think it different for what part of the nation your in... I think some guys run different gaps for winter and summer..
