Never ever assume....UUGGHH!!! Rear valences are different

I have a rear valence off my 98 sedan that i was repainting to put on my 2001 avant.....I spent 3 hours today sanding and painting my valence and rear bumper. The bumper turned out fantastic after installing a new drier and filter on my compressor. Water in your lines for your clear coat = shitty shitty paint job. But anyways the rear valence off the 1998 sedan is too long for the avant for some reason. I don't know if its an issue with the bumper or the model year. UUHGGHHHH. Now I have to sand down all the bumpers and start over. SHIT.

anyone want a painted santorin blue rear valance? No shipping. just local pick up.

thats some bs right there. I always though everything was the same except for a few things past the rear. How did you paint your rear bumper, I think I need to do mine because of all the marks from sliding stuff in and out.

lol. My bumper just had some minor scratches and my friends mom scraped the back of my bumper so she paid for paint. I just sanded down the imperfections. some filler primer in some ares. resand. primer, paint, clear. Not too much orange peal so I'm getting better at this paiting business. I'm pretty happy with it so i won't wetsand.

Re: Never ever assume....UUGGHH!!! Rear valences are different

This seems the right place to ask. Poopie, with your gutted S4 exhaust are you also using the stock resonator? I just want to get the info while I can as when I go BAT I want a Milltek exhaust. And they have a 3" single designed for the B5 S4. What would be needed for it to fit? I want the resonator also. That is one sweet souding exhaust.

I figure if you can get the stock S4 exhaust to fit, there should be no reason the Milltek S4 exhaust won't fit. Thanks!

i have just and s4 muffler. Just get a custom made exhaust to a 3in vibrant resonator. Then gut the s4 muffler and open the hole to 3in for the piping.
