Thanks guys, I can't wait! The suspension gets put on Tuesday and then I gotta figure out whether I wanna get it aligned that afternoon or if I wanna drive it for a day to let the springs settle.. what do you think?

Wait a week or so, like protein said. My springs dropped another 1/4 inch or so after a week of driving.
Cant wait to see it!

E - tell me about it.. the wheels finally came yesterday. I was sitting ON MY PORCH waiting for the Fed-ex guy to show up lol.

A week.. really? Maybe I'll do it next weekend then. My daily drive it about 50 miles so..

and yes, simplicity in the fact that I can have the whole suspension put on and not worry about it year round!

But yea, I just got my aligment yesterday after waiting like 2 weeks for the springs to settle (I was surprised these USED spring settles SO much more.....I LOOOOOVE it now)

And yea....the handling is soooo much better!

Why would you worry about your suspension a year from now with coils???

Yo Sami, you bet. I appreciated our back and forth on your thread a couple weeks ago or I might have not even taken the time to look! I checked the part number before leaving AWE when I picked them up, so I'm all good now!

Yo dude you need to get off the coil-over pony. Some people would rather ride on a shock and spring setup. Personally, I didn't wanna have to deal with the adjustments, and I'll never have the car on the track.. so why spend the extra money when I could use it on something else..

My car handles superb with the bilstein shocks and H&R sport springs. If coilovers are so superb, then why wouldnt car manufacturers equip them on their cars? A properly setup shock and apring combo is the EXACT same as a coilover. (What do you think a coilover is comprised of?)

Coil overs are way too overrated, I think u can get the most perfect drop with just shocks and springs.. and if u get the koni shocks u can tune the softness of the ride..

The perfect stance will never be achieved with just that combo. IMO obviously I just dont see myself paying 600+ for the combo when I can get some coils for 100 more. . Im done enjoy your new setup

dont you have stasis coilovers? since when are stasis coilovers $700??

Plus I got my H&R sport springs for $100 shipped,and the bilsteins were already on the car I win

hr... the drop doesnt look too low.. i want race neuspeed low... and to help the OP... i had coils on my car three times (meaning 3 different sets) and not once did i chnge the ride height not once. this time around. shocks and springs combo. thank you come again.

I so totally agree about springs vs. coil-overs. I'm running the H&R's on my S4 and will get their setup for my Avant in the spring. I don't track my cars and the drop I got from the H&R's was perfect for what I wanted. I saved a few hundred dollars and my car looks exactly like I wanted it to.

With the money I saved I spent a few extra dollars and got the Hotchkis front & rear sway bar kit. My S4 handles like it is glued to the road.

Arrgh. sh*t. The shop just called.. canceled my suspension install for tomorrow (book mix-up) so it won't get done till NEXT wed.. sorta annoyed, thinking about doing it myself (with some help, of course!)
