On that thread from audiforum.com, the writer states that the flanges on the elim kits are a huge restriction. So how does about the same HP output equal a flow restriction? (If he was talking about using it with the stock manifold then yes, I would agree. But he doesn't specify and you wouldn't be making 300AWHP with the stock manifold.)

First off your reading the info wrong. The RPM is where the turbo starts to spool up not where it hits peak hp.

There is a huge difference between a GT28rs/elim setup vs a K04. The K04 is short lived from 3-5500, where as the Elim/28rs setup is going to just start pulling hard from 350 right to 7k rpm. K04 is good for 200whp while the elim/28rs setups start at around 260whp on pump gas.
