    Mornin' Fellas,

    Question for you all.

When I purchased my car a little while ago, well actually traded for my car. ( I traded a B6 A4) The deal was that I keep my 19" wheels and he could take the stock s4 wheels.

I have a feeling I made a big mistake. When I went to put my 19's on. Which had the same bolt pattern and offset(as far as I know) Well the wheels fit on the back perfectly The front was a different story, and by this time the guy was already gone with my stock wheels.. When I went to put the 19's on the front I almost cried.. I couldn't get them on due to the front calipers. So I went and bought the biggest spacers I could where my bolts would be long enough to get enough threads into the hub. It still wasn't enough.

So the first day of owning my car I had to ghetto it up already, grinded the calipers down about 4-5mm to get my wheels to fit on. Now I can fit a piece of paper between the caliper and my wheel spoke... yeah... sketchy..

Anyway if you can decipher my pointless story, my real question is I'm now going to have to buy a set of winter wheels. Will I be able to get any cheap black steelie wheels what are going to fit over these brakes? Or does anyone know where I can get some very cheap wheels that will fit on for winter mode?

    Thanks for your time.

    Re: Winter wheels.

look at MSW wheels, they make a set that are silver painted and clearcoat, which is great for winter, also they are the correct bolt patern and offset. I have a set for my car and fit perfect with no spacers. I think they are around $125 per wheel. I got them through Discount Tire. 18" BTW.

    good luck

be careful with using spacers. you should always get longer bolts and make sure the amount of threads in the hub is the same as stock.

These should be perfect for you. One wheel has some curb rash and the other 3 have minor blemishes. PM me for more details and the price is negotiable.

Ive got some 16" Ronal's that i believe were less than 150 a piece. They are cheaper for tires but they do require i think about 5mm spacers though.

Just get a set of stockers and buy winter tires.
