i had an intake the only thing that has changed i cleaned the MAF with rubbing alchohol and installed the stock box again

the MAF is my only suspect for the idle going from 200 rpm to 700 rpm everytime i come to a stop or put in the clutch

anything else could cause this maybe bad timing and O2's are going out? im just wondring what to test i have a buddy with a new ethos scanner and ill T pin the leads and watch whats going on next time i drive to Sacramento

Should have used CFC MAF cleaner instead of alchohol. Log your MAF or find someone whom is willing to swap them out for a test to see if that is the culprit. If so, replace it.
