exhaust help

Gotta make my decision like RIGHT NOW. got a magnaflow 14815 muffler and i need to choose what size piping i want. I have a k04 hammer file with all the supporting mods. the GIAC website says 2.5-3" piping. I was gonna go for 2.5in piping but now that i saw this im not sure anymore. Should i go larger? What do you guys think would be the absolute BEST for the k04. All my mods are in my sig. I was thinking of doing it without a resonator. Just piping from the cat back to the muffler. Too loud? i guess i could change it up later if its too loud.

I personally would prob. just do a 2.75 or 3" in-case I ever wanted to go BT. Your not going to lose any performance by going to a 3" exhaust. Thats just me though..

GIAC website already answered the question for you. 2.5-3". Anything in that range is sufficient. But if you ever plan on going bigger than a k04, then get a 3". Otherwise, a 2.5" or a 2.75" is good enough. Of course, many will say get a 3" anyways. I myself have a 2.75" on a flashed k03s and will upgrade to a 3" later on.
