Re: Eibach Spring compare to Vogtland

I just bought a Black on Black B7 Avant S-Line and was wondering the same thing. I currently have a B7 Sedan with 2 wheel drive and have Eibach Sport springs with 19" wheels. The ride is better than I originally thought it would be but now with the S-Line, and the fact that it already has a sports suspension, will the ride be the same if I lower the car using only springs. Any help would be much appreciated. Will post photos after I pick up the car on Wednesday....

Not sure, but the cost is just a couple hundred more that just springs. If this application is better, this may be the way to go for us S-line owners..... Is it much more to install the struts? Any info from anyone who knows would be great!

I have Eibach springs with SLine shocks and have no issues whatsoever. Car handles beautifully.

Re: Eibach Spring compare to Vogtland

That's B&G Sport stuff. Decent company overall.

Everyone says shocks will never last on aftermarket springs, but I've done this on 4 different cars for 50k+ miles each without issue.
My is300 at 95k installed eibachs on stock shocks (125k total) is finally in need of replacing, but nobody keeps an Audi for that extent of time so you should be fine for the 30k miles or so that you will own the car.

I have the h&r spring w. the s-line suspension for over 20k miles now and the ride is great. I drive a lot and I need a good riding car and this set up is just perfect for me. Plus the spirng give it a great drop imo.
