    Has anyone had this happen

I installed new control arms a while ago and it sat. The car didn't make any noise from the suspension the first couple 100km but searing was really heavy. It has gotten lighter and now it clunking, has anyone else had to retorque all the suspension bolts after a bit of driving?

Also what vac do people usually have at idle I have around -24psi and have a boost leak seems lower then it was previously...

Did you torque the bolts at ride height (jack up the hub)?

Normal vacuum @ idle is 18-21in Hg. (rated in inches mercury, not negative psi). Under hard decel/engine braking you should see higher than 22in Hg. Basically the higher the vacuum the better. If you really are pullin 24in Hg @ idle, I don't think I'd trust your gauge. Is it fluxuating @ idle or anything weird?

It wouldn't be a bad idea to recheck the torque, but to actually need to, I'm not sure. I haven't had to. Is the noise coming from the same arm/joint you replaced?

Re: Has anyone had this happen

Its not the joint I'm pritty sure its the joints. I installed the control arms and it sat for 6 months so i think it needed driving and re torque, maybe I didn't load the suspension enough when I did it. I am doing boxster brakes and s4 rears on monday so ill just torque them then.
Ill send a video of idle vacuum. I have a new exhaust and bov on there, but i seem to remember the vacuum was 20 on the boost gauge before.

yes initially I used a tranny jack as it was on a hoist. I am thinking might not have loaded it enough. I am using a floor jack to re torque them.
