cross compatability -parts- a/c lines; please help!

I desperately need to fix my A/C. to do so, I need the two lines running from the compressor to the evap. and the condensor. I keep finding lines off 2.8l B5's, and am hoping someone can tell me whether or not they are the same as the lines on my B5 1.8 TQM?

Any help would be entirely appreciated.

Also, I have a "wtb" ad in the miscellaneous car parts classifieds.

also! does anyone know if the lines from a VW Jetta or Passat would work? Anything else? A6? A8? I'd be happy to end up with something which I could reroute so that they no longer hang so low.
