I'm looking to buy the vmr 708 rs4 reps but I can't seem to decide what size, either 18" or 19"...anyone installed these in 19's without any problems?...pics maybe?

Re: Need you opinion on wheel size:

I have a set of 19" B7 RS4 reps that were on my B7 A4, and won't put them on my B5 because they won't look right on the older car.

Check out S4wheelgallery.com and you'll see what I mean. If you like the look, I'll make a smokin' deal on them, though.

Personally, I think B5's are best with 18's and styles like B5 RS4, DTM RS4, Sportec, LM's, CH's, anything that is from that generation/era. B7 wheels looks like you are trying too hard to update the car, which is a classic. Let it age gracefully.

As far as comfort goes, I switched from 19's to 18's and the 18's ride alot better. .02

19s for looks, 18s for handling. I run 19" BBS CHs and they look awesome, 235/35/19 tyres, no worries.
Audi S4. Noggy Blue. MRC remap. FK Coilovers. 18" Compomotive MO's. Vredestein Ultracs. Labree downpipes. Vibrant cat-back. Carbon goodies. Cayenne BBK. Hotchkis ARBs. Dietrich RS4 front end. Recaro Pole positions. R8 steering wheel.

Re: Need you opinion on wheel size:

18" and 19" fit no problem at stock ride height and will not have rubbing issues if you run the correct sized tire. We do these packages all the time to stock ride height vehicles and it still looks great. You cant really beat the rs4 style look. If your looking to save some money on tires or scared of the pot holes i would recommend the 18". We do wheel/tire packages here at VMR, so if you are looking for something, dont hesitate to email me at [email protected]

Running 19x8 R8 replicas on 225/35 Kuhmo Ecsta SPT. They look and drive fantastic but the roads around my part of town are horrible and its a huge difference from the stock wheel setup. But they look great!

You need to post some pics! I am contemplating this wheel, but I haven't seen the 19" reps on a B5 S4
