    Re: need alignment help

Do they have the right software to do an a4?

I have been calling around for an alignment and a bunch of places won't touch the A4. I only found a few shops in town that will do it.

Yah basically around me only audi and VW will do a a4, and at VW you might need to say Passat 4 motion :p. The coupe quattro (after complete restoration) not even audi dealer wanted to align it.

You circled mostly before #'s. Look at the after #'s. The only thing I see wrong with that is the right rear camber is off. This is why you have 0.6* cross camber in the rear.

    Everything else is pretty close.

That right rear camber is really easy to change too. Just turn the eccentric bolt on the inside end of the rear tie rod.

    Re: need alignment help

The right rear camber didn't even change. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it too much, you probably wouldn't even notice the difference. Its only 0.4* off from being within spec.

But it doesn't even look like he tried to adjust the rear right camber. Usually when u adjust toe, your camber will move so slightly. But you adjust camber first before toe. I checked on my alignment machine computer, looked at the illustration, and I think your camber should've changed. Might wanna take it to another alignment shop.

I aligned my girlfriends 98 avant and was able to get everything in spec. Her car has the stock sport suspension, but I could see I got a lot of adjustment left. Your front camber is non adjustable but they make those aftermarket adjustable upper bushing to make them adjustable... I wouldn't worry about it.

    Re: need alignment help

I'm not going to say "I wouldn't worry about it" but it's not that far off.

I'd change it, whether the eccentric bolt is frozen/rusted/fubar and needs replaced or whatever. I like my car to have predictable handling. If you alignment isn't "straight" the car can take right corners different than left corners.
This could be an advantage if you were circle track racing.
