Getting a new key cut...

I have been calling the Kingston Audi dealer in Kingston Ontario with a few Audi questions lately and the answers they give me are either wrong... or i dont get called back.

One of the answers i got didnt satisfy me so ill ask in here and see if you guys know

I have an 04 S4 and i want to get a new key cut. but instead of that shitty key with the little plastic corner for your keyring, i want one of the newer key models that have that metal keyring across the bottom of the remote.

Dealer said it was impossible to cut an 04 model key into an 06-07 style remote.
