    Quick alignment help please!!!

    Hey guys,
I installed my CE28Ns with PS2 245/35/19 and PSS9 coilovers in the past couple of weeks and now that the car is all settled I have it in at the dealer for an alignment (I know this is a bad idea, but it's also there for a window regulator). They said they needed the "specs that should have come with the suspension". I don't remember the PSS9s having anything about alignment in the box, but I may be crazy. I always try to keep all my mod paperwork but can't find anything about it at the moment. So I told the dealer that I've been reccomended to get the car set up with RS4 alignment specs as that is certainly more aggressive than stock A4 but they said "we only do alignment based on VIN so unless we have your custom specs we will do the best we can with the stock settings". This sounds like complete BS to me. So two questions:
First, does anyone have anything about the settings for adjusting alignment on an S4 PSS9 kit?

Second, should I get my regulator done under warranty then look elsewhere for alignment where the people can just take the car in and get it done?!

Thanks, and I need this quick, because the dealer is "waiting".

Should be fine with the stock A4 alignment specs unless you're looking for a more aggressive track setup and aren't concerned about tire wear.

Ok, I feel like at least the slightly more aggressive RS4 setup would better utilize my newfound grip and handling. Should I get an RS4 VIN and at least tell them to use that?

    John,

Take it to boardwalk audi (god I hate them!!!!!!!!) go see David Adamie (great guy) Tell him you need the car set to RS4 specs. It will be $250 and take an hour or two (they source some type of alignment specialist, I think his name is roger) but it will handle so much better and you will not get as much inner tire wear. Well worth the money! I can give you the specs when I'm back from vacation. Man my legs are sore, we walked all the way from central park to china town to get a coach purse knockoff.

Haha thanks, the car is supposedly done right now. Said they "figured it out". Believe me, if they didn't, I'll be back. But for now,

Crazy idea, but believe it or not, all those yellow cars driving around the city are not simply the result of New Yorkers really loving that particular color car.

    Re: Quick alignment help please!!!

YOu'll likely never get it exactly to spec but you can come close. The A4 does not have adjustable camber up front so in that respect you are stuck with what you got. Here are some general specs from Stasis who knows a thing or two ;)

    Conservative Street Setup
Between 1/16 and 1/32 TOE IN front and 1/32 TOE IN rear
Ride height at 25.875” front and 26.000” rear
    (–1.0 camber front)

    Aggressive Street Setup
Between 1/32 and 0 TOE IN on all four corners
Ride height at 25.500” front and 25.625” rear
    (–1.5 to –1.75 camber front)

    Track Setup
Between 0 and 1/16 TOE OUT on all four corners
Ride height at 25.000” front and 25.250” rear
    (–2.0 to –3.0 camber front)

WARNING! The Track Setup alignment recommendations are not for the street and will result in serious straight line instability. STaSIS accepts no responsibility with its alignment suggestions.

I don't know if you have them in Texas, but for allignment checks I use Butler Tires. I would take it to a specialized tire shop before I take it to the dealership for allignment.
