How hard is the modification to the fog lights? It's a big plus to me to be able to keep them.

edit: I just relized, the foglights no longer work? Any way to get around that? What about a HID foglight kit?

Will you develop one for the B5 A4 (w/ MAP sensor flange and so it clears the SAI Pump)? There would be interest in that as well.

One side could work but the other there is just no room. Yes there is room for a smaller aftermarket HID fog kit

I also am planning on building these fog light block off covers. I just need to guage interest in them.

Email me pics and info at [email protected] . I could always just fix and modify the existing pipe from the already popular piping kit. Email me all the info you can and for which kits this is needed for. Then I could just sell the single problematic pipe.

yeah that stupid gay hose.. i hate that thing. I'm sorry but could you sort of explain how you deleted it? custom hose?

the oem hose is crimped a little on mine, very lttle, but it's not good looking. Plus, it seems like because of its shape, it is not allowing my lower pipe to go in as far as it could go.

I take back any prior things i said about your kit.. it looks great guys. great job on it!

The piping kit we made is just longer and goes straight to the outlet pipe of the turbo like this pic.

In this picture the pipe I speak of is the 2nd from the right. Goes straight from the FMIC to the turbo outlet pipe and needs no more hose just a 2" coupler.

Thanks man. As for a hose, I probably got a good quality used one laying around the shop I can set you up with if you are in a pinch. My email is [email protected] if you wanna see what I got.

Or in my store you can get the complete piping kit with all couplers and clamps for $385, just minus the core in the options and minus the bracket and hardware kit. The Brackets are stainless steel and put it right where it needs to be, so if you use your brackets you may need to adjust them for this piping kit. The bracket and hardware kit is $40.

Re: JHM FMIC Kit - More pics of it installed and NOW back in stock

I was almost sold on this FMIC because it looked like fog lights were gonna fit.

I mean its still looks like a great setup.

I just wont give up my fog lights. So I'm still sticking with SMIC's

Yeah, unfortunately it just doesn't have that much room.

Here is a pic of what I did to the fogs on the gray car above. I still need to find a good aftermarket fog light that fits in there that isn't so bulky.
