My buddy race-car Jimmy has a small shop in CT where he restores cars...actually his buddy Jimmy (in pic) is the real genius, but one guy did all the body work. I'm not sure who did the interior but I think it cost $15k. The engine was also rebuilt and works better than ever.

I asked for 'before' pics which I'll post if I ever get them.

The outside was orange, the body gaps were crooked, and the engine had electrical problems...now it's better than it was from the factory.

I think it's currently on the west coast in a car show.

Damn is that nice...and so low. Ah, the days of the koon-tash, that car was so far ahead of it's time.

that interior is beautiful. Not that the rest of the car isn't, but I'm in awe.

Cartoonish crap. The LP400 (not the S version) was the last good looking Countach made.

thanks for taking the time everyone.

I pushed for the before and during pics again yesterday. I told race-car JImmy to get me pics of the Ferrari and Corvette they restored and pics of Jimmy's SCCA race car he built.

p.s. I like the earlier Countach models like the LP400 more than the later ones. But I would be the king if I had either.

    ABSOLUTELY SPEECHLESS...

From a day and era of real, committed sports/exotic cars with only a real manual transmission available, silly low ride heights, no assists, daring designs that still look good to this day...just yes.
