I tried to stick with as close to stock looking as possible but bigger without looking ricer.

what size are those, 3in? they look small but I guess it depends what you're use too. I run 3.5in tips because i thought 4in looked a little ricey at the time, but i will probably run 4in if I ever change them again.

4 inch is perfect but it better be more then a tip at least a muffler cuz then it will look a rice machine. 4 in tip and no sound coming out of them. lol

lol, you guys crack me up. i didnt want to go too large because its not my personal taste. i know its subtle, but thats what i wanted. they're a bit larger then the originals and much cleaner. plus the exhaust was all cocked up anyway, one tip was out farther then the other and they were not centered in the cut-outs, so i had that fixed. Check it out before, ugly as hell:

^bingo. not really interested in go-fast mods for this ride to tell you the truth (i say that now). been there, done that/doing that with other stuff. just want a nice, reliable DD that'll do well in the snow and can haul my dog. the avant was a perfect match.

The Avant wont do "well" in the snow it will do amazing things. I remember last year, it was snowboarding every single weekend almost and do i love my avant and quattro or what! lol good times. I dont have any pets so i couldnt tell you if its comfortable or not for them. lol

I've owned a mercedes for the past 9yrs like 4 different ones already and i Just like them but my Audi is definitely something i like to have as my DD and for the weather we get in the NW, rain rain rain and snow in the winter when i go up to the mountain.

Amen to that...the quattro has saved my lives in the snow countless times. If there is anything I LOVE more on my car is the ability to drive my car in the snow like a toy...it's quite amazing.

My girlfriend's sister owns a CL230 Kompressor and I drive it around quite frequently, and I tried driving that thing in the snow with a pair of Blizzaks and still was getting zero traction. scary

But, I love the new SL's...drrroool. But no Benz for me in the near future. My gf and I went to the BMW dealership and sat in an X6 and fell in love with it. She's trading her 3 series in for it, so the Audi will still be around =).

agreed, but lexus's are for granny's my mom has one and handling in the SC430 is non existent.
