Still in the process of getting an Audi and moving to Cheyenne. The main reason I'm getting an Audi is actually because I'm moving to Cheyenne. If you've experienced it, how well has an AWD car fared vs a FWD car up there in the winter months? I'll be up there by the end of May.

How bad is the snow in Wyoming? Mainly around the Cheyenne area. I've got a friend that lived in Wyoming that said it's actually not that bad and the wind blows most of it. And what sticks, doesn't stick for very long.

Wind pretty much takes care of the snow. Wyoming is ALWAYS windy... like 24/7, unless its 105* and you want wind. I lived in Powell, and work(ed) all over Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Idaho, South Dakota, and North Dakota.

Ah the wind, worst part of wyoming... It blows at least 20 mph every day here, it's so annoying whne it starts gusting up to 50 mph for a few days.

I'd say its worth it, my roommate drives an rx7 and i've had to pull him out of drifts a few times. I've plowed through some pretty big drifts in the a4 though. It also can help you get out of situations where people can't drive in the snow. Here in Laramie everyone thinks they can go just as fast with snow on the streets, it's nice to be able to avoid them. A good set of snow tires goes a long way too.

I'm in Cheyenne and although my Audi is not AWD my Enclave is and it really feels good to have that security blanket. I regret not having the AWD on my Audi but even still the snow is not that bad here. But I have heard that it was a mild winter this year, you just have to worry about the wind, not really anything you can do about it.

There's supposedly a shop on 17th Street named 17th Street Audio. I've never heard of anyone getting work done there but I'm sure it's expensive. Other than that I don't know of any others.

I'm getting a majority of my install completed in Texas before I move up there in May, but I was hoping to get auto start put in up there. I'm guessing most people go to Denver when they need work done on their car?

To be honest I don't know where anyone gets stereo work done around here or where they go. I've always done my own work so I've never relied on anyone. There's also a pawn shop up here that has an audio guy that does work. I just can't think of the name of the pawn shop but it's on E. Lincolnway. Are you just trying to do remote start and that's it?

I can't remember seeing 93 octane. I always use the expensive stuff but I don't notice what grade it is.
