This one turned out nice IMO good quality, nice closeup! Keep trying different lighting and try to find some good support for your hands when you snap!

Tripod is a good idea, the problem with the blury pics is just a question of stability!

Try taking some pictures during the day, they probably look clear in a much smaller format like the lcd on the camera...In low light situations with no flash items tend to blur without the use of a tripod. Just grab some in the daylight and repost them...good effort though.

maybe you had the camera setting at smallest JPG and then tried to enlarge them?

to the OP, keep in mind that posting a thread w/ a title "dope new pics" leads to high expectations from fellow AZers, and well sicne there are a lot of people on AZ that are pretty decent photographers, the community, as you can tell by all the replies to your thread, has gotten used to seeing a lot of high quality shots... i'm sorry to say that yours fall short of claiming such status right now... but a little bit more of practice, i'm sure we'll see some decent pics from you in the near future...
