did ECS tuning send me the wrong N75 valve?

The one I took off the car is part number 078-906-283-B

The one they sent me is part number 058-906-283-F

The only thing different that I noticed when I installed it was that the connector was facing the firewall instead of the passenger side of the car like before... I took it for a spin and boost would climb to 17psi and then taper off to 15.

Will this valve work with the S4 or do I need to get it exchanged?

Did you contact ECS and ask them? They're a pretty helpful and friendly group.

That's the wrong valve, but it may still work ok.

Stock should be the same P/N. Call up ECS -- they're usually very good about this sort of stuff.

It seems like you have an F valve off the A4. The B valve is obviously stock s4. either way I would still contact ECS to make sure that it is safe if you just want to keep running it.

Re: did ECS tuning send me the wrong N75 valve?

Thanks, I figured something was fishy about it as the connector was in the way of the accordian hose so I had to take the valve off the valve holder and its just hanging there in front of the accordian. Ill call them tomorrow. Do you think they will overnight a new one? I told them in the comment section that it was for an S4.... when I ordered i ordered it from the list of items in the S4 category, not A4.
