Ive come across a deal for a dash from an automatic s4 2001 that had a good lcd screen. Can i put it into my manual 2000 s4. (im going to change the logo back to the 2000 version i like it) but i heard u cant reprogram a dash once it reads like 15 miles. I heard u need to use a vagcom to reprogram it to my correct millage. its 260 bucks is that a good deal? i dont want to pay 500 bucks for one new but i will eventually im tired of dead lines.

    Re: Installing dash question

A few people have recoded euro RS4 instrument clusters, I don't know why you couldn't recode this one. But double check with someone that's done it.

Where can you buy a new instrument cluster for $500?
So long, and thanks for all the fish!
