Once you install it do you get a "Blinking ABS/BRAKE" on Cluster unit?

    1.) Turn ignition...
2.) **3** beeps. BEEP BEEP BEEP
    3.) THEY ARE ALL GONE

Only happens when the car is started and it only happened after I installed the TT LAST SUMMER 2007.

I ask now because I am running into Issues with my 99.5 A4. I am getting a "BRAKE LIGHT" on LCD on cluster unit everytime I step on brake "BRAKE LIGHT" on LCD and stays on. I go to rear of the car have someone hit my brake sure enough I have a BULB OUT.

I have tried changing the BULB 3 times nothing! The other side works and so does the one on the top. Can't be the fuse because then none would work...IDEAS?

Have you checked for voltage at the connector for that brake light?
The contacts kinda suck in the lighting cover, check to make sure they're actually contacting the bulb.

    Checked fuses?

Re: *ALL* Greddy III Turbo Timer OWNERS./"BRAKE LIGHT"

If a FUSE was out NON OF THE BRAKE LIGHTS WOULD WORK.

The rest of the bulbs on that side (where brake light is out) WORKS

The panel that's on the back of the tail light has a group of wires inside of it. The connector does as well. Check to make sure the contacts are good in there. Any water or moisture in there can start the corrosion, and that can cause your problem.

Don't dismiss all of what I said just b/c your other brake lights work. I've popped a fuse on a couple cars before that only took out the lower bulbs, not the CHMSL(aka 3rd brake light).
