B5 S4 suspension on Passat

One of my friends has a 2002 Passat and I recently put coilovers on my S4 so we want to put the stock on his passat. What would this take? And will it fit?

Same chassis...hmm. Have you searched VW Vortex to see if anyone over there has done this? I'm gonna take a guess and say yes they will fit, but will be higher because the S4 weighs a bit more than a Passat.

The front should fit, the rears won't, maybe if it's a 4motion. But does he have a V6 or 1.8t? They make after market Passat suspensions ya know.

From what ive heard only the fronts fit on a V6 and not at all on the 1.8t's. Ask the guys over at passatworld.com they're good guys and will answer this question for you.

If its a 4motion it should be fine. if its FWD, only the fronts will fit
