I love my audi buttt, check engine light is pissing me off

Hi all, I have an 02 1.8t quatro 5 speed. I love my car, gas millage is good its dependable and everything has been good except for one thing. My check engine light seems to come on randomly, usually when its wet/mosit out and goes off that same day. This has only happened 3-4 times so far and it only stays on for a few hours. I have no clue why and the dealer cant find anything wrong with it. The light wasn't on when I took it. Is this a common problem? also am i better off waiting till the next time it comes on and talking it to the dealer or should i invest in vag com?

that happens to my car sometimes too but it still runs great most of the time its some emissions hickup take it to a parts store and check the code you might need a new o2 sensor im chipped too . .
