I was looking at getting a Cupra lip and the lip is like $80 but the shipping is like $350.....

I was also looking at some RS4 pedals and the UPS shipping rates seem way too high.

Has anyone from Canada actually ordered anything from there?

try to get anything from the US shipped by USPS/Canadapost..... UPS, DHL, and FedEx love to rape people on customs and duty frees (they can even cost more than the actual item as I found out...)

Just try to get them to declare the contents of the package as a Gift and total value under $100 (Thanks NAFTA!)

I looked into getting some carbon parts from OEMpl.us for a TT that I recently sold. The parts were in the $1300+ range plus that ridiculous shipping quote. The only thing they could offer to help with shipping was to truck it to a business address.

Instead I got the parts from VagParts in the UK. The parts I wanted weren't listed on the site so I dropped Martyn ([email protected]) an email. He had me a quote in a day or two and had everything shipped within a week. The parts were delivered to my door for under $1100 and arrived faster than what OEMpl.us quoted for a time frame.
