Need Tire Recommendation for a 2004 Audi A6 3.0 Quattro 16 inch

I am looking to replace the tires for my 2004 Audi A6 3.0 QUATTRO (16 in). Any suggestions? Please note: I live in Chicago so I'd want something that can useful during our harsh winters. The car currently has 65k miles.

If you like bridgestone tires my good friend is a manager at bridgestone he can hook you up with a good sporty all season tire...

I have a 2003 2.7T, and I researched long and hard to find the perfect tire for my car for upstate NY. I needed a good allseason performance tire. Some people here will recommend the pirelli pNero M+S. or the continental extreme contacts. I live in an area that gets snow almost every day for about 3-4 months, and after my research I chose the goodyear F1 all seasons for $140 a piece at tirerack.com with a $50 rebate. They recommend the Bridgestone Potenza's. I opted away from the bridgestones because of the name, and also that bad rep they have had in the past.

Now if you dont care about performance much, then my advice is useless

x2 for the Goodyear F1 A/S. I picked them up for about 120 a tire plus the 50 mail in rebate for all 4. Knowing how much I like them I would pay whatever the going rate is next time I need tires. They are good in Minnesota snow and still look sporty.

i was almost going to pull the trigger on those goodyear F1 a/s these guys were talking about.. but a buddy hooked me up with those bridgestone potenza 960... for 150 a pop.. can't compare them with the GY F1 cuz i never had them but way better than those Pirelli that came stock...
