super quick vag-com question

Hey, I'm thinking about buying a VAG-COM from ebay for like 16 bucks and was just wondering if changing the codes for things like the seatbeltchime and controlling the windows from the key fob will have any affect on the cars warranty? If it does, would they be able to tell if I just switch the codes back to stock before I take it in for a service or something like that?
