Window Tint on my car this Weekend!!

I did 20% on my silver avant with grey interior and it looks pretty good! i normally did 30% before and its nice as well!

I'm tinting all mine when I get my windshield replaced sometime in the next couple weeks. I think I'm gunna go 20% if the shop will let me (i think its below legal tint here in AZ....)

AZ used to be 15% all around but i think they just changed the law to 33%.....

yeah, well the guy who now works on my car (not the dumbasses who ruined the AZ GTG weekend for me), his best friend is the guy who owns a tint shop, so I'm gunna see if he'll hook me up with the 20%.

where have my fellow Arizonians been hiding at!!? I've been up here in prescott for almost a month now, got a better paying job where it wasn't so hot, but I'm coming down to scottsdale this weekend. We should get together

I would do 20%. And that's just trying to be practical about it. That's also what I have on mine. And I can still see out the back when I'm backing up at night. That was one of my main concerns when deciding how dark to go.

Yeah even when it's super bright out in broad daylight, 5-10% really, really lowers your visibility of what's going on outside. At night it's so dark hardly any light gets in, and you feel like you are driving one of those vans with no windows.

I would recommend between 20-30%, it keeps your car nice and shady, you can see out perfectly, and it's still dark enough where people can just barely see inside. Besides, limo tint always looks fucking ghetto because the glass is blacker than your trim, tires, and anything else on the car that's black

You live in Spain, you should first check with the window tinting laws. I myself would go 20% if not the paranoia of being pulled over for it.

i have 18%, i think its perfect. there is a small ammount of tint from the factory so mine tests at 13.2% visibility is still fine at night, if its really dark out, ie. no street lights backing up and looking in side mirrors kinda sucks cuz they tint themselves. but its not enough of a problem for me to tunr the auto dim off.....

The other problem with 20% is that it attracts the wrong attention. Depending on the car, going from 35 to 20 can make it go from tasteful and classy to the Homie's Whip.

i have 35% and love it, its dark at night and blocks out the sun well enough during the day. i think its classy. If you want to be paranoid of cops every time you drive but wanna drive a dungeon car then get 15-20%. I think uneven tint looks bad and i think 5% is just way to dark. I as well tinted my windshield 70% up front just to give the front of my car alittle darker look even though i have black interior. If i could do it again, I would try and find somewhere that does 30% instead of 35%

My rear screen's limo black, (about 5%) while my sides are 15%.

Never had any issues with visibility, or Babylon boyz.

The other thing I forgot to mention. Unless your A/C works, don't get your windows tinted in the summer. You can't roll down your windows for 2-4days.

I just had mine tinted, 200 for the back and all 4 doors. 5% rear, 35% front.. I'll be tinting the front windshield in a little bit as well.

2 days depends on the temperature and stuff. I've tinted windows, and I hate doing it. This is why I pay people to do it.

I paid $165 for all the windows. I could've gotten the upper part of the windshield done, but I never like the way it looks.

What color is your ride I alway have been a fan of the dark smoke tint... for cars of black/grey hues

got mine tinted yesterday. $160 for all of them (he hooked me up with a friend discount).
Got a carbon colored film, which is like supposedly the new shit, it doesn;t interfere with wireless signals(gps, satelite radio, etc. etc.), and has a better look to it. Got 35% in the front and 18% in the back/back windshield. Looks good I think. Not too "vato" dark, but helps with the heat/glare a lot.

2 days without rolling the windows up or down. I think I can go 1 being as I live in AZ where its sunny and 109 all day long. Pics coming sunday

well mine is a silver A4 and i paid $70 for the whole thing looks amazing i go the hook up from one of my friends he works in a shop where they do the tint and install systems and he did a bad ass job i will post pics as soon as possible.
