What everyone think of the Votex chin Spoiler

It depends on the setup of the car. I've seen some that look good, and others that look horrible.

I love it in my black car, makes the front much more aggressive.

Many guys here think it´s not nice, but they plan to use the cupra lip...¿? A cheap piece for cheap cars...

I think it does give the car different look tho.. but from the picture i think i it look better on the black car.

I like mine in White. I refuse to do door blades with them as I think it fucks with the car's overall appearance (ex. the silver one pictured above).

Edit: you HAVE to get side skirts if you do the front spoilers, otherwise it looks fucked from the side. The Votex Sides are subtle, but they get the job done nicely.

I don't like them only because it look's as if they just stick on and don't fit the car in my opinion. If you like it just put it on since it's your car. It really doesn't matter what other's think.

I have to say, I'm not a fan of it. I like the subtle spoiler on the S-line a lot better. The Votex is just too big, IMO.

It seems to depend on options on the car, and the color as well; on that silver one in the pic a few replies up, it looks odd. However, on the 2 black and 1 ibis white, they look sexy. One thing to note, at least from the lids of mods in his sig, IsThat2.0 isn't lowered and they look great.

I myself have an unpainted set sitting in my garage waiting to be lumped in with some body work I need done that will involve paint. I can't wait to get 'em installed.

Also, how the hell can THEY be too big? It's not even one piece, its two small pieces that attach directly to the stock, non-sline bumper. It's actually the smallest possible front-end mod out there for our cars....but o well, to each their own I guess!

Too much work to switch to sline front now. Im keeping the non sline....I really like the horizontal lines to it. Alot of people upgrade to sline and rs4 optic grill eccc... im playing the lines right on mine and if chin spoiler sucks after a while it will end up in the classifieds

I agree in that it depend on the color, Black and White seems to be the best for the chin spoiler. I have an ibis white and thinking about getting it (the ebay ones). But not before I get sports suspension and 18s. I really like the S line front, but it's an expensive upgrade compare to the votex. I'm looking at $800+ (Bumper, covers, grill, insert, paint, install) for the s-line compare to $200 installed for the votex

if you got an s-line bumper, dont do it. just get the cupra lip. but it you got non s line, you need 3 things. votex chins, sline door blades, rear trunk spoiler (i suggest three piece rep from ebay).

For the cost its better to go DTM or s-line, unless you're getting knock offs, then it's a good alternative on the right setup.

But yeah, the chin splitters do tend to ruin the ground effects of the car. If you had it balanced with a pair of skirts, maybe it will balance it out, but even then it's still a meh.

Just do what you like. Either way there will be lovers and there will be haters.

Here is the Ebay link. This is for the painted ones. I will say again, get them unpainted and do it yourself. You will more than likley have to paint them again and you might as well save some money getting them unpainted.

The gap makes it look off. I think it works on some colors but it would look much better with a full CF splitter below to tie the front all the way across.
