    New car battery recommendations

Now that I'm at nearly 90k miles, my battery is slowly dying. Any recommendations on what I should replace it with? Does it have to be a specific battery? I'm willing to spend money on something good because I have electrical tweaks that will require a relatively strong battery. Which do yall like?

Is that one of the Silicon batteries? Or is that a lead acid? I've been told by owners of Silicon batteries that they do not work as advertised...unlike lead acid, when they die, they die, that's it.

I've always had Interstate batteries... here in the frozen northern midwest you can rely on them.

As far as I know, the Optima's which fit in our Audi's are all lead-acid.....

    Re: New car battery recommendations

Red Top Optima unless you have a stereo system, then I would go Yellow Top...nothing else compares. I put a Red top in my old car and the system hit harder right away without doing anything else. All my lights lit up better and I think the car ran better with it. I loved and will be getting one soon.
