So I have a few fault codes and I have an idea after searching what they could be but I just wanted some advice as to how bad it could be. Here I go:
16684: Random/multiple Cyclinder Misfire Detected
16685: Cyclinder 1 misfire
16686: Cyclinder 2 misfire
17536: System too lean
16517: O2 Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1 slow response
17700: Map Controlled Engine Cooling Thermostat F265 open circuit
For the first three what I can think of is that compression is off, fuel injectors are faulty, or something else? As far as the compression, what could cause this. I know bad spark plugs or injectors but I just replaced injectors and spark plugs and coilpacks about 1500 miles ago when I went to 1+. Any suggestions? I know coilpacks go bad but this soon?
For the lean code, i'm guessing my O2 sensor is dying and since I got a code for that, I am safely assuming to replace that.
For the thermostat, what can I do to check or fix this. I don't want to spend 80 some dollars on a new one. Any suggestions?
I don't really drive the car hard. I do some pulls every now and then but that's it. It's my daily driver and I try to keep in maintained as best I can. Last thing too, if I had a misfire, is it safe to drive or should I get it looked at right away? Thanks in advance for any advice, or technical support!
