ABT Kits...Made Here...In Taiwan...

Came across this Taiwanese manufacturer yesterday, and apparently they make all of ABT's stuff. Thought it was interesting considering no one can find their kits anymore. These guys also make a bunch of AMG stuff too...

ps. You can't order them from these guys unless you wanted to purchase quantities of like 500. Even then there might be an exclusive agreement or something.

these are made in the EU... but.. are sold from taiwan... (for the asia market/importing into the states)

they are not manufactured in taiwan.

I'm not trying to argue with you, but this company is specifically a manufacturer, not a middle man for sales. I only know what's in front of my face though.

So you can order from them then? If shipping isn't outrageous, a parts distributor should look into importing from these guys.

shipping will be hell.. and in most cases from Alibaba i have seen u need a tax id/reseller license... all that trouble... just go order a fake ABT from ebay.. or call up a dealer of ABT.. u can still get them. from some online retailers.

The boxes look exactly like the boxes my genuine pieces came in. The primer color also looks correct. The side skirts they show are for the B7, not the B6. Some of the pieces are for the Golf/GTI.

The quantity requirement is very interesting and gets me thinking something different however...

I know Abt stopped manufacturing the B6 stuff as soon as the B7 came out. When I was searching for my side skirts, I had 2 seperate parties (previous importers) contact the Abt factory on my behalf and they had nothing for the B6 (and I mean nothing!)... not even any spares for accident replacement pieces. The only thing I could purchase was a couple interior pieces that were in common w/ the B7. I also had them contact other sellers in Germany and they too had nothing...

IMHO, these pieces are probably knockoffs of some sort or another. I just don't see there being 500 of anything lying around. I have my doubts whether Abt made 500 of some of the pieces in the entire B6 run... Just my $.02 based on my searches
