    Had the pleasure to prep this 2007 Audi A3 for a fellow forum member for the So Cal Euro Event in San Diego. I had a chance to drive this as well and I must say it is FAST. On to the detail...

    I've always been curious as to how you get swirl marks out. i wax my car once a month and that usually makes the swirl marks minimize. but when you buff (as seen above) with polish, are you taking a small layer of the clear coat off to bring back that factory shine?

    That is correct. I am leveling a small amount of clear to remove the swirls.

    i saw this car up close and it was one of the best detail jobs ive seen. even cleaned the engine and it looked brand new
